Eureka! is a comprehensive Time Costing and Charging System, designed specifically to assist professionals and support service staff to adopt a commercial approach in accounting for services. The flexible database structure is based on user-defined parameters, incorporating tiered hierarchies, which enables analysis at summary and detailed levels. Frequency of timesheet entry and units of measure are user-defined. Optional methods of data entry include on-line, batch and electronic data capture via Psion organisers or Datapens. Eureka! Provides: The benefits:
Combining salaries and overheads to create accurate unit cost rates, Eureka! automatically costs upon timesheet entry and allows retrospective amendments. There is also the facility to differentiate between chargeable and non-chargeable time. Other features include:
Eureka! allows staff budgets to be allocated to clients on a percentage, unit or cost basis. It also provides the facility to model future budget years on past actuals. Flexible charge options in Eureka! include:
The Eureka! database is flexible in that the elements of the database can be named to suit the individual users of the system. Therefore if one group of users records time against, for example a job number then when they use and report from the Eureka! system all references are to job numbers, however another group of users may wish to refer to the same layer of data as a Cost Centre. Eureka! caters for this by allowing field labels to be setup to control the names of the elements of the database. User IDs, given to each user of the system, are linked to specific field labels. Sample reports may be either viewed here or downloaded in PDF form. The sample reports have been grouped under some common field label headings:
With five report generators and over 50 standard reports, Eureka! provides extensive management reporting. With a choice of directing reports to the screen or to the printer Eureka! can also output information to file or spreadsheets for further data analysis.
Eureka! software is widely used. |
